A light switch that buzzes or feels warm is not a minor annoyance — it is a sign that current is not flowing cleanly through the switch, which generates heat where it should not exist. Loose wiring, a failing dimmer, or a switch overloaded beyond its rating are the most common causes, and all three are worth acting on right away rather than living with.
A switch that is genuinely warm or hot to the touch, not just making noise, should be switched off at the breaker and left alone until an electrician has looked at it.
